Do I need to be based in Cornwall?
Most of our clients are in Cornwall and the wider South West, but a lot of what we do can be handled remotely. Get in touch and we'll have a chat about what works for you.
I'm a sole trader - is this service for me?
Absolutely. A lot of our clients started as sole traders and we helped them take things to the next level. If you're doing everything yourself and struggling to keep on top of the business side, that's exactly what we're here for.
What size businesses do you work with?
Mostly sole traders and small to medium-sized businesses - typically those with up to around 20 or 30 staff. We don't work with large corporates. We like being able to make a genuine difference, and that's easier at a scale where you actually know the people involved.
I'm not sure what I need help with. Can you still help?
Yes. A lot of our clients come to us knowing something isn't quite working, but not sure what. We can start with a chat and a simple review of where things are, then go from there. No commitment needed upfront.
Do you offer ongoing support or just one-off projects?
Both. Some clients bring us in for a specific project - sorting out HR documents, getting ready to take on staff, setting up accounts. Others want someone in the background on an ongoing basis. We're flexible, and we'll agree something that makes sense for your situation.
How does the mentoring side work?
It's pretty informal. A lot of our clients just want someone they can ring when they're not sure how to handle a situation with a member of staff, or whether a decision makes financial sense. We're available, honest, and we won't judge you for not knowing something - that's what we're here for.
Can you help me tender for contracts?
Yes. We've supported clients through tendering for council contracts and larger commercial work - helping with health and safety documentation, company structure, and all the paperwork that goes with it.
